I got bike issue in the middle of hwy 410 today and got helped by Matt. Unfortunately, I didn't save his number by accident and I don't know how I am going to find him to say thanks to him again.

All I know of him: his name is Matt, an officer (fire fighter/emergency services... navy uniform!!!) in Brampton also a rider. If anyone know of him, please please help me ask him to message me.

In details, Matt helped me bump start my bike and more than that, he took me to Mayfield road and waited with me until my friend came over to take me home. He was too nice to even get me a coffee while I was waiting. I was so silly that I asked for his phone number and did not save it properly.

Sorry that I have to post several threads on this forum but I am really hoping that I will find this amazing officer.

Thanks everyone

Did you not thank him at all before you left?

GTAM needs a lost connection section .....

I thanked him so many times but I thought it was not enough for what he did for me especially noted to myself that there were so many bikers by passing me and noone stopped but him.

Thankfully he is also a rider and noticed that I put my helmet on the ground.

There are fire stations from 201 to 213 and I cannot find individual station numbers :'(
I would really feel like an ***** if I cannot at least let him know that I lost his number.

And you wont .. fire station numbers are not given out to general public.

There is no way eh?
Well, I found their general phone number and email and am not sure how I could get my message reach him. Would people care enough to pass my message to him?

That general line goes to admin staff. They wont provide you the numbers. They may take a message and try to relay it ..

He could of been a cop in Brampton or a fire fighter in Mississauga.

His uniform is navy and I read the logo something "Brampton fire emergency services"

Thanks for trying infernobuster :)

so confused. So when you say navy, you mean the colour of the uniform? and not like the Armed Forces with boats and ships and the sea kind of stuff?
I read the op and thought, how can he be in the Navy and a Brampton fireman at the same time.

OP - was he cute and you want a date? If that's the case that's cool.

Outside of that the only thing I can recommend is go to the Fire Halls and ask around if it's that important to you. Maybe it's Infernobuster from the site here?

LOL! Please don't call the fire halls looking for me. ;)

I'll PM you my number. I'm glad you made it home ok.

For the record to those confused about the Uniform. I work for the Brampton Fire Dept. The flashes/patches say BRAMPTON FIRE on top and emergency services on the bottom but I get mistaken for a Police officer all the time as it's the same color (Navy/Dark blue) as the PRP uniforms. I'm not an officer.

Was just driving home from work and saw a stranded rider on the other side of the Highway with their helmet on the ground. I exited, got on southbound and parked behind her bike for protection till we could get it all sorted.

Glad it all worked out. :)

I'm no Sherlock, but I have a feeling that @slowbird may be the Matt you're looking for. No thanks needed. ?
Good on you Matt. ?

Kudos for helping out a stranded rider! You paid forward.

Good for you for knowing to put your helmet on the ground and for having manners
