I haven't noticed this thread until now. Who is GTAM rooting for in 2026?

i will go first- I support Max and its not looking good for 2026. Anyone supporting Mercedes is gonna be happy based on Q1 and Q2

Max is not a happy boy right now.
The cars seem really skittish with the new harvesting/braking systems.

On the positive side- Red Bull Driver 2 made it to Q3 and starts P3. Cant remember the last time this happened

Perez qualified P3 2 years back. It felt longer than that to me!

Also Webber labeled as Driver 2 made me remember his line "not bad for a number 2 driver"

If I had to root for someone, it'd be for Hamilton to guide Ferrari to a comeback. I am not committing to that

Pole qualifying time is three and a half seconds off of last year. That is not good IMO.

Seems Merc has quite the advantage right now.

That crash by Max should make for interesting viewing today as he starts from the back ofthe pack with new car tech to work his way forward.
