Fair question, I would assume making oneself easily identifiable is a good reason. I'm not talking about stating what you ride, I'm asking about the lists of previous machines.

its gives us some background history into the rider...duh
we can see how a rider has progressed or what they previously had and what their tastes are like...

What's the deal with chicks that identify themselves as females in their handle, like GSXRGIRL or HONDABABE? Or the ones with their ethnic background like all the xxxSushi or Asianxxx? And what's with all the avatars of people leaning over on a track?

I list only the current one, so I can remember which one to hop on after posing. Picture of it too as avatar to help jog the memory, sport bikes all look the same.

Everything in my sig gets regularly ridden. I left urmom out, as I like variety.
