Both versions look okay to me, though I think they ought to be a bit more crisp or sharp.
 
...and HEY, don't change my colour settings to make your logo look better.

I don't even see the logo you guys are talking about. I've been using an ad blocker for the last decade.

Anyways, the new site is not impressive...
 
Now I'm curious. Maybe I'll turn off ABP and look. I don't know how it looked before though. haha...
 
Just opened IE to have a look. What's wrong with it? I think it's cool. Looks like some kind of alien with a spiky tongue sticking into an apple. Or maybe a lab with some kind of probe machine.
 
I'd like an option to have the white background back please....

The dark blue is way too much

I like it! More colour looks better IMO.
 
I switched back to the "old" look. I found the new site to be to harsh with the dark blue to look at. Not really a fan of the new logo.
 
logo was ok, but the blue is quite harsh, back to the original for me
