Does Toronto actually have a plan?

So Toronto renames the Dundas Square in the middle of the city Sankofa . It’s a Ghanaian word , not sure what it actually means . The LBTQAlphabet movements used it for pride parades as a theme . Ghana has made homosexuality illegal , ten yrs in prison .
Why can’t we just name stuff after trees and birds , maybe small animals . Why do the clever people have to F this up constantly?

It's not always pocket lining. Much of the money is consultations and ass-covering. Nobody gets fired for making sure all the boxes are checked. The taxpayers have unlimited money to check every obscure box that can be found. If it was a normal company in a reasonable world, we wouldn't need 100 studies and consultations on historical indigenous activities 50' underground.

It can`t just be a few of us here that see what an absurd clown show this entire country has become. What`s the $$ total in B.C now with the provincial gov`t handing over land, twice the area of Toronto, to even bigger grifters and scammers,... I heard something like a trillion dollars earlier today. How does this end well? This country is such a F`n disaster...by design

Well I guess I need to setup a consultant business in my basement (next to the software app business). I will produce nothing and happily take the money. 🤪 (y)

It's not easy money. Dealing with morons whose only purpose in life is checkboxes is painful.

Are you sure?? They have money, they want revisions, that cost money. Oh more checkboxes, here is a new bill. ;)

Money can only solve so much pain. Just because they don't care what the total project costs doesn't mean the layer above you is willing to pay for the time they waste.

Pluto got demoted

By the same holier-than-thou brainiac types that cancelled Dundas, Ryerson, and Macdonald. It's the 9th planet. The end.

And this new trend to print the money in "portrait mode" is stoopid. More leftie drivel.

Good grief portrait designed money is somehow a problem....<facepalm>

Here is apparently the Toronto Ballot. The election process is so broken. Two people that might win and 48 people polluting the ballot. Maybe something like using advanced polls to narrow the election ballots down to five or less is in order. Obviously this isn't just a Toronto issue. What do you want to bet that third place in the election is Braeden Chow who has no platform?

What is the cost to get listed on the ballot? make it enough the goof balls stay home .
$200 and 25 Toronto citizens that are willing to put their name and address on your submission. I don't like elections to be purely about money but something like $5K and you get it back if you get more than 10% of the votes seems like a good compromise.
