Does Toronto actually have a plan?

So Toronto renames the Dundas Square in the middle of the city Sankofa . It’s a Ghanaian word , not sure what it actually means . The LBTQAlphabet movements used it for pride parades as a theme . Ghana has made homosexuality illegal , ten yrs in prison .
Why can’t we just name stuff after trees and birds , maybe small animals . Why do the clever people have to F this up constantly?

It's not always pocket lining. Much of the money is consultations and ass-covering. Nobody gets fired for making sure all the boxes are checked. The taxpayers have unlimited money to check every obscure box that can be found. If it was a normal company in a reasonable world, we wouldn't need 100 studies and consultations on historical indigenous activities 50' underground.

It can`t just be a few of us here that see what an absurd clown show this entire country has become. What`s the $$ total in B.C now with the provincial gov`t handing over land, twice the area of Toronto, to even bigger grifters and scammers,... I heard something like a trillion dollars earlier today. How does this end well? This country is such a F`n disaster...by design

Well I guess I need to setup a consultant business in my basement (next to the software app business). I will produce nothing and happily take the money. 🤪 (y)

It's not easy money. Dealing with morons whose only purpose in life is checkboxes is painful.
