Of course these people are out of touch with the "common" folk.

Chow herself touts riding her bike to the office, but I'm sure she get's shuttled to all these meetings across the city, and all the events later at night. I doubt her staff accompanying her are all biking it everywhere. I've seen her at events, she pops in for about 20 min's and takes off, and I highly doubt with the way she is dressed is biking it to the next event. Hey I could be wrong and she truly lives the life she preaches.

Where does she live? A lot of downtown workers live in the burbs.

Job security and seniority.

When my wife was working near Burnhamthorpe and 427 a coworker came via public transit from near Scarborough Town Centre.

Then the company moved to near Erin Mills and the QEW. Longer commute and Go isn't cheap, add TTC and Mississauga Transit fares.

Then the company moved to south Brampton.

Quitting for another similar job would mean losing benefits and years of seniority.

Watching her wobble around while doing bike pr leads me to believe she has never ridden a bike in traffic and has rarely ridden on in controlled conditions.

Absolutely zero chance she rides from event to event. It’s nothing more than PR to show she’s into it.

No different than Freeland ‘I don’t even own a car’….

Well yes…because we’re paying for you to be driven and flown around day to day.
