I saw it at the show, very comfortable, and well priced.Been about 2 seasons now and buddy said he loves his IBEX800.
Honestly his review is making me consider it as a replacement for the Scrambler.
I saw them all over Poland last year with many dealers. And tons of them here in Mexico also.
Not sure about dealer support in Ontario but hopefully they keep growing.
Didn’t know about the motor. But at least new ones should have decent warranty to cover any issues. I think he paid close to 20k all in with the luggage and everything.I saw it at the show, very comfortable, and well priced.
But it uses that KTM 790 engine which had the crankshaft problem. I'm not 100% convinced it's fixed.
Camshafts. And apparently it has been fixed.I saw it at the show, very comfortable, and well priced.

Yes camshafts.Camshafts. And apparently it has been fixed.
I'm not certain that CFMOTO had anything to do with the failures. It was an engineering problem from what I read as opposed to a manufacturing issue.
I'm pretty sure it's fixed at KTM, and just not a thing for CFMOTO, but I understand your reticence. I wouldn't be interested in a CFMOTO yet as I think their dealer network and everything around supplying that network is still a work in progress I think.Yes camshafts.
Apparently they didn't and they started to build these engines afterwards. But some of the info around this seems dodgey to me. Like they are purposely making this point. And yeah apparently fixed. I dunno something about it still doesn't seem right.
Otherwise a good bike.
Love those Triumphs. Sat on the new Scrambler 900 at the show and liked it a lot. Used twins are plentiful and reasonably priced. Hmmm....Would anyone cross shop with a VStrom? With Suzuki moving to a twin and similar displacement and believe the price point is comparable. Off to YouTube…….and these really aren’t my style but, maybe one day when they do look attractive to me! As I look at my old standard T100 with love……
