Anyone using mesh jackets or pants in this heat? Recommendations...

Joe Rocket mesh for me or Thor armored shirt if it's really hot. I wear this one as does my kid

Excellent armor....stays on the joint instead of moving around and way cooler/

I don't bother with ballistic riding pants anymore - use knee armor that goes underneath ( Thor as well )

Very light and they work

Very light ripstock nylon when it is hot....511s when normal temps.

Damp jeans again though.

Polyester blends dry much quicker than jeans
Was surprised how quick the 511s dryed out while riding.

In Australia Idno't bother with rain gear ....too hot - get wet, sun comes out, dry off....repeat.

Do you need a size up to fit that armour shirt underneath?

I've not used a cooling vest, but have heard that they do not work in high humidity. We have a lot of high humidity days here in the GTA. It would probably work very well in Arizona or Texas. The evaporative property that cools you does not evaporate when there is so much moisture in the air.

Gore-text jackets are amazing. I have a Klim Badlands Pro jacket. Big bulky and black, but breaths incredibly well, the slightest breeze you feel go through you when standing still, and when moving, well just like standing still but better obviously as you have the wind. The added bonus is it is waterproof, I have ridden through torrential down pours and remained dry.

The problem with the textile brands and waterproof is usually the venting suffers, I have had a few jackets from different brands that were waterproof, but on a hot day were terrible. Not a fan of rain liners as the entire jacket gets soaked and heavy. The best venting jacket I have is a BMW Rallye 3, amazing venting and fit, really well thought out with a built in bladder pocket, removable sleeves, the downside is it uses a rain proof liner.

I've been dying this summer.
A* Matrix Kevlar
Rev'it Sand 2

... brutal.
Mornings are okay, still cool temps of 18-20
But coming back from work is..ugh brutal.

I've heard the resurgence jeans still breathe a decent amount but then theyre $$$
i definitely need to find a mesh jacket for next season as this years moto budget has been reached :(

Have the Rev'It Airwave jacket and pants on order... Picking them up today at Riders Choice... Should be much cooler than my Rev'It Sand 2 gear. Purchased the Rev'It Sand Pro gloves a week ago... Awesome hot weather gloves!
I've been wearing a Rev'It! Neptune GTX textile jacket for the last month. I'm certain it flows more air than my Olympia Air Glide 3, a mesh jacket.

I ride in a JR Phoenix mesh jacket and A* mesh pants. The JR jacket is of average quality. Though nothing has broken I can see that the design and stitching are not that great, but neither was the price. When something breaks I am sure I can repair it. As I bought it in black it is a little hot if not moving and over 28C. When moving the jacket vents very well. The armour seems well fitting, but I have not and do not want to test it.

My A* Air-Flo mesh pants are high quality. They are a combo of cordura nylon and mesh. While it does not vent all that well, while moving it is adequate. I use armour underneath. The pant legs have a zipper that spirals across the leg, starting from he crotch, across the knee and then down the lateral side of the leg. This makes it really convenient to put on your pants, unzip the leg, then put on your leg armour and boots, and then zip up. I like the design, it works well and is easy to use. As the leg design is a bit more complex, I cannot easily alter the length of these pants, so they are a bit long. I have not and do not want to test their survivability.
