The Bad Riders of Ontario Thread

I've got an axe to grind. I can appreciate the convenience of the e-bike movement and I respect the fact that people need an easy, affordable way to commute to and from work, appointments, etc. That said, these ************* like to just rip around, ignore all rules of the road and they're...

Sport bike down at Steeles and Weston Rd this moring...

I hope the rider of the black sport bike (didn't get a good enough look as it was surrounded by police Exploders) is OK. A co-worker of mine saw them being stretchered into an ambulance, but didn't see what kind of shape they were in. Bike was pretty mangled, floor dry everywhere for the...

    DIY Whitewalls...

I'm toying with the idea of whitewall tires on my Rebel 500... Has anyone tried painting the sidewalls of their tires to get the whitewall look? Is this feasible? If so, any tips / assistance would be helpful. I could, of course, just wait until it's time for fresh rubber and purchase...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Update on the storage room. I still need to paint and install the doors and handles, and I'm thinking of covering the bench top in Ash wood. Otherwise, you can see my wife has begun filling it lol.

    Cutting Down Windscreen

That's the one. The supplied bracket is way too short to fit it on the Rebel, so I'll have to fabricate something.

    Cutting Down Windscreen

I'm going to make it something presentable. Angle iron in the gas tank may not be the solution lol. I haven't had much time to tinker with so many other things on the go, but when I do, I'll be sure to post.

    Cutting Down Windscreen

Lol I didn’t mix them up… though they do both start with “H”…. All joking aside, I like the style of it, and fabricating a bracket shouldn’t be too difficult. I know for sure it’s the correct size headlight opening and I’ve dry fitted it to see how it looks. Just need to put in some time.

    Cutting Down Windscreen

I'm having a different issue, because I'm a moron I bought a front cowl for my Rebel 500 but technically it's meant to fit a HD Sportster so the hardware doesn't line up anywhere. I guess I'm going to have to fabricate brackets lol. **Not trying to threadjack, just a side note lol

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Well, with baby #2 on the way, my wife decided we needed a storage/ mud room. So we turned this unused basement closet into one. Step 1 was drywall. Then came tile, then... well... you can see the work that I've put in. (Right side is floor to ceiling storage cabinets with adjustable shelves)...
