    How`s your house pricing doing?..

The word you`re looking for is stupid. Save obtuse for Andy Dufresne and the Warden Norton.

    Rob Harris... Ten Years After

The advrider article on `arris mentions Piero Zambotti. Piero died in a crash in 2003 at age 26, accomplishing so much in his short time. I got to go out for a rip a few times with him, he was over the moon excited to ride my 500. I can`t recall ever meeting a young guy so smart, kind and polite...

And often known as druggie criminal dirtbags. Didn`t Peterborough try something like that last year and scrapping it in short order.

    Manual shift transmissions are safer

I`m technically not a millennial at almost 70 and have never owned any vehicle with an automatic transmission. I`ve likely got one more car purchase in me, can you even get a GTI or type R with a manual anymore? Or any of the small hatches or sedans from Honda or Mazda,.. possibly Subaru. FWIW...

New HD CEO has a Plan.............

I see www.robinsonmotorcycle.com in Wheatly has one in stock plus a XR1200 and XL883R. I`ve heard some parts for the V-Rod are becoming hard to source. Still a cool bike however.

New HD CEO has a Plan.............

In the world of music, Harley is metal. Makes no sense to many, can`t explain it to others, despised or hated by some. They are loved by many though, like hardcore metal fans love. Wanna` get an opiniated debate started, more than any other topic?... just mention the name.

New HD CEO has a Plan.............

Sport bikes are way more subtle. The now defunct 600`s would evolve year over year with half a kilo lighter,0.9 more HP etc. Sport bike styling is generally similar...but now we have wings too!!

New HD CEO has a Plan.............

H-D is bringing back the air cooled 883 Sportster for 27/28, could be interesting but it will be built to a price point, around 10K U.S. So that means 13 to 14K here for a bare bones bike. The Bronx or a 975 Pan-Am especially would make more sense.

New HD CEO has a Plan.............

Seems a convergence of many things has torpedoed them, the economy, aging out demographic, politics, shortsighted planning etc. At almost 69 I`m likely at the top end of potential new customers that could swing a deal. I`d love the new `26 Low Rider ST, in orange please, but $31.6K plus tax? I...

    I also did a thing!

The one I mentioned looked like a kinda` shark fin on the grip end. That was mid 70`s or so, what you have pictured probably works better.

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Reminds me of a crash in L.A. years back. High speed tumbling SUV, ejects the driver and first responders can`t find him in the dark. Eventually he is spotted way up in the tube frame of a big overhead sign, quite deceased. See the crash of MM93 in MotoGP the other day? Bikes tumble very well.

    I also did a thing!

Used to be able to buy grips with that paddle thing as part of the grip, maybe still can. They were OK on forever long straights but found `em to be a PITA mostly elsewhere. Ever ride a real early CB750 with a separate cable to each of the 4 carbs?,.... there was a workout.

    Mert Lawwill..Rest in Peace.

Died yesterday at age 85. Icon, suspension pioneer, `69 Grand National Champion, Inductee into 5 halls of fame. And for many of us here the man who sparked the motorcycle flame as the star of On Any Sunday. The opening scene of him sliding his XR750 sideways on the mile at 100mph can`t be...

    Cobourg 401 RIP

Haven`t heard anything regarding the crash, obviously skilled Officer, good weather riding in a straight line. Medical, mechanical, or animal strike or just ran onto the shoulder? Crap deal whatever.
