    Z1000 or CB1000R for $10,000 possible?

Last year I negotiated around $13,000 OTD for my buddies z1000... that was pretty easy but any farther discount would have been a stretch

    Oil Frothing... Really that bad?

Im using motul 5100 (the semi synthetic one whichever it is). Theres a very small layer on top of my oil in the window of small bubbles (read tiny bubbles); especially when I ride my bike hard (aka going up north, closer to redline shifting etc) Bike is an SV1000S if that makes any difference

    Oil Frothing... Really that bad?

So I've noticed my oil is frothing ever so slightly. Seems like my oil level is alright though. Is frothing an automatic no no (I should remove some oil), or is a little frothing ok?

Advice on offering dealer at shows.

I went with my buddy to grab a 2011 z1000. My buddy is indecisive and kept saying he didn't like the exhaust, wanted the bars lower etc etc. So I asked if they could throw in accesories so he could buy the bike he wants and not have to do anything to it. Salesman said he didn't work like that...

Lee Parks and Total Control are coming to Ontario

Hey don't worry about going down (not that you are), it means you were pushing yourself, which in a parking lot under the supervision of professionals, is a good thing! I taught you how to ride, your a model student simply because your taking extra advanced riding courses so early in your...

Lee Parks and Total Control are coming to Ontario

Was part of the afternoon session today (skills day). All I can say is the instruction just keeps getting better and better! Leaned off my bike further than I ever had before. Realized my vision was slightly off (not using peripherals enough). My throttle control was pretty spot on. To be...

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

So then in regards to stretching I propose this. I can do a forward fold and get the palms of my hands to the ground. I am relatively flexible without having to routinely stretch. Because of this would I still need stretching. Of course if I lost full ROM in any of my limbs (relatively...

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on stretching? Right now I'm not stretching at all and I'm in the gym 5 days a week (heavy sub 10rep sets with 15m on a bike afterwards). I feel like full range of motion exercises stretches my muscles enough to not need to actually stretch. In fact, when I...

    Recommendation for a Touring Jacket

Got an alpinestars scout jacket. Has an awesome liner thats lines the arms as well as the outer shell being waterproof. Has a cool neck warmer and lots of pockets. Retail is almost 500 but can be had on ebay for 200-300. Would definately recommend Sent from my GT-I9100M using Tapatalk 2

    Parking at Exhibition Place

nope there isn't. However, I'll give you an insider tip to use at your own discretion (I work there every so often) If you go along the Manitoba drive driving westbound (from strachan avenue), the first parking lot on your right side has a big parking lot (under the gardiner) that never gets...

Best Place to get new rubber.

Petes superbike seems to be the best place in terms of price. However many local vendors will price match petes prices. I know bluestreak racing will match sometimes Sent from my GT-I9100M using Tapatalk 2

    University of Toronto Riders Unite!

So figured since the ryerson thread got somewhat revived I'd bump up this one. U of T riders anyone? Im at St george and ride my bike till it snows (sometimes even later!) We should at least do a group ride, maybe talk about starting an actual motorcycle club? Although I doubt that will happen...

Where and what was the closes call you've had that scared the crap out of you

My closest calls would have been the ones in which I crashed (all my own fault mind you). My closest call where I came out unscathed would be on the 401 where an older fellow in a Civic decided to cut off a moving truck (how/why he did this I don't know, how can you not see something like...

feedback on las vegas motorcycle rentals

eaglerider is the goto place for rentals. Unfortunately they don't have sport bikes (at least when I went). You can find places to rent sport bikes on the actual strip, but beware that they are not the best maintained etc (bald tires, fairing damage, etc). The bikes could have run fine, but I...

    Missing a court date?

So if someone were to miss their court date, what would happen? In other words, if someone were to intentionally miss their date, expecting a guilty plea be put in anyways, how would someone go about paying the fine? Will there be late penalties? Will they recieve the notice of conviction in...

US Lottery Winnings - How to get tax refunded?

If she does everything on her own vs hiring someone, I've been told that the key is to tell the U.S govt that you used over $10,000 USD on gambling or more. This way they will refund you all of your winnings. grandparents are snowbirds, go to Vegas multiple times a year... They always apply on...
