I bought a half dozen for friends and family a few months ago. Kept one for my own emergency; I hope I never need it.

Don’t. I’ve snapped 2 of those recently. 2 mos ago it cost me a broken rib when I got speared when I fell on the broken bar. I’m guessing 300ft lbs of torque snapped them.

I just scored a killer deal on a new never used CTMach 400 lathe/mill combo (enhanced Grizzly G4015Z, 16” swing, 19” between centers). $900, came with 3 and 4 jaw chuck, 9” faceplate, live and dead centers, steady rest, quick change tool post, drill chuck, 4 pc boring bar kit, 8 pc carbide bits with tons of replacement carbides, 8 hss cutters, and a 5 pc drill set.

Mill attachments too compound machinist vice, full collet set, fly cutter, and 10 end mills.

Now I need some projects!
