14 days and counting. Heading to Tuktoyaktuk in 2 weeks, been on my bucket list for a couple of years. Planning on 3-4 weeks, weather dependent. Bike is all set up and ready to go other than an oil change. Total trip will be around 14,000 kms, with about 800 kms of gravel and potholes on the Dempster Highway. Can't wait to go for a swim in the Arctic Ocean!

If you take a close look at the bike pictures, you'll notice I installed some highway pegs off the crashbar. I had my left knee replaced a couple of years ago and need to stretch my legs!
The plan is to camp the entire trip, unless we run into mechanical issues or consistently bad weather. I have a brand new set of Motoz Tractionator tires on the bike, I think they will last the entire trip, if not, I'll stop on the way back and get a replacement. I'll be changing the oil and filter before I leave. Again, will stop near Edmonton on the way back and do an oil/filter change. May take a spare filter with me, that gives me the option of picking up the oil and doing a Canadian Tire parking lot oil change.
