Saw a couple of brave riders today with the snow pellets bouncing off them. A big Harley and a sport bike. Also a m/c riding school. The students were having fun, the instructors were covering their heads with clip boards. Looked like a full class too. Great to see that enthusiasm.

Just got back from a 2 hour ride. I was so lucky very few red lights and little traffic, kept moving and wasn’t hot. Then I stopped to fill up. The sweat was filling up my glasses. Days like this I think early morning or evening rides are the best. Take water with you if you can.

I've spent the last couple days doing a walkway and forming stairs in front of my house. I will take the heat over a snowflake any day. I was freezing when I got in the house because of the a/c. Wife won't let me turn it off.

I have a misting system rigged up around my gazebo. Need the same thing on my bike, maybe one of those water cooled astronaut suits.

I remember a few years ago (was it Wonderland?) they had those misting stations and they worked surprisingly well. I have a cooling vest that I picked up one year on summer trip out west. It worked well when you get over the wet dripping feeling when you first put it on until you start moving. It gets hot if it dries out and you don't stop to soak it. Haven't tried it in our humid heat.
