My mother in law is Greek terrible English. Was stuck in an old school marriage. Cook and wash dishes and keep quiet household. At over 80 to late to change things now.

That is a challenge for newcomers. Canadian multiculturalism norms encourage newcomers to keep their cultures rather than melting into a common Canadian culture.
That cuts both ways if one’s existing culture has control or oppressive tendencies.
Sad. With better Canadian focused social skills they could get jobs and fulfillment outside of the home. They could meet open minded people.
It's also a burden to the medical field when they can't describe a symptom in English. Either call in an interpreter or send them to a veterinarian.

Carney is backpedaling as fast as he can. He now says the whole idea is Ebey's and feds are putting in 10% and BC is putting in 90%. He really sucks at economics. He speaks nicely while screwing citizens at every opportunity.

While I would expect it cleaner, f me what a whiny person. You don't need to disassemble the bbq and polish the guts. High heat for a couple minutes and away you go. Food left in fridge should obviously have been removed but that's a two minute job. Mouse feces aren't ideal but could have occurred after cleaning. Boarded up window could be a rock from lawnmower, again no big deal. Another article showed some dust on window frame. She was expecting a full deep-clean of an entire house before she showed up for the week. Very few people would do that. Two hour cleaning blast through the house and then the next renter arrives.Our cottage is dated…but damn…I should try to post it again when I see this stuff.

Saw some of the photos….i think I’d be screaming for refunds also as the place does look bad…especially for $7100/week.
