Wondering if anyone here uses one of these units, Or care to share any experiences with one?
I have them in all my cars and one for my bike. Love ‘em.

Mine is a Camecho. Had the 5” - too small so I put it on my atv. The new 7” is much easier to read - it’s great because it connects to my helmet and iPhone blueteeth.

It’s an android tablet with customized firmware.

I picked up the LAMTTO unit. Install was easy and everything I needed was in the box. Connects straight away to devices. I use a communicator headset as well so my phone, LAMTTO unit and the communicator sync as soon as I turn them all on. It doesn't seem to like my VPN too much so I have to turn the VPN off.

Good topic to bring up once more.

Been on the fence for sometime I’m these.

What is the communicator headset?

I have a Cardo packtalk slim and it works seamlessly with the Carpuride. I have the Cardo paired to my phone only, but using the Capuride I can control music, answer calls, etc.
Thanks, I thought Communicator was a brand name. I want to stay away from the brand names as I rarely use these as I've tried to listen to music before but found I "tune" it out.

Guys are braver than me.I would find this stuff very distracting. Especially podcasts or audio books.

I just installed a carpuride on my GasGas 700 dual sport yesterday. I got the 6" one, W603 I think. My only criticism is that it doesn't have a power switch on the unit, only on the controller. They encourage hooking it up on a switched acc circuit.

I find it odd, but Amazon was about $100 cheaper than ordering directly from Carpuride. So giddy up, hello Amazon.

I bought it to use Gaia GPS for off road and google maps on road. The screen is bigger and I'm led to believe more sensitive for gloved hands. I also use a cardo paktalk on occasion so being able to control it through this larger screen would be nice.

Now that the sun has reappeared I'm going to go out and try it out.

For me it's just nice to not have to have my phone mounted, shaking, exposed to the sun/rain for tens of thousands of km. I have a bluetooth comm but unless I'm riding with the missus, or covering long distances and want some music or an audio book, it basically stays off.

Very good point. Was just about to buy a new case and mount, maybe it'll just stay in my pocket... My longest ride is my 10 minute commute to work and I have access to a URAL so don't need any distractions on that beast.

How much weight have you got in the hack?

Empty seat and truck. Shoot me a dm or let’s start a new Ural tips and tricks thread.

Two 20kg bags of salt in the hack will give you more confidence in right turns. Practice in an empty parking lot getting the hack in the air (or just light)
