Torque wrench on sale

I had one for at least 20 years too and the ratcheting started to slip. Went to Cdn Tire and exchanged it for a new one and they gave me a new one without any question.

Thanks to RFD for this..

I have this one from years back. This is a decent price.

The range on that is a little high for most applications on a motorcycle. Most oil drain plugs are about 20-25 ft-lbs. I think mine is 15-100 or 150 ft-lbs. and that does almost everything I need it to.I think they are more accurate when used in mid range rather than the upper and lower ends of their limits.

I have the little brother version of this torque wrench too. A sale on that one would be better true.

The torque wrench I actually use the most is a 1/4” drive 250 inch pounds (about 20 foot pounds). Everyone should have one of those. It’s the small fasteners that you have to be the most careful with.

Ducati single sided swingarm wheel nut needs 170 lb ft, so you need something like this one for that. Also much easier to do car lug nuts with the better leverage. I have a older Maximum with this spec. Keep the receipt even though it says lifetime warranty - some stores require it which makes no sense. Especially for the ones with the "Maximum" wording that can wear off.
