Windows 12 Documents leaked

I refuse to go beyond W10 hacked beyond belief to remove all the "spyware" features.

And I only have that until I'm either done with some old strategy games, or they work flawlessly on Linux. Then I'm gone forever.

Depending on how old they are... if you own them on Steam, that now has Proton (the Windows compatibility layer that the Steam Deck is built on) integrated. So many Windows games work flawlessly on Linux with zero effort.

I'm aware. It's cooked for a decade or so now and it's really at the point where there likely isn't much that I have that is of concern.

I am mostly, 31st last real day. , I've been offered a consulting role so my phone may still ring. One of the new owners offered just stay part time, old owner says he hasnt worked full time hours in a decade, how would that work?

I've been semi-retired for about 10 years. I work as needed, and as wanted. So probably 10 hours or so a week. If there's a downside it's that you can be doing something and get the doom call that means you have to drop everything and move into action.

Gotta ask - what is this software that the vendor hasn't planned for an inevitable Win 11 migration? Especially if it's holding your entire company hostage.

Maybe start testing on WINE.
