Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Big screen been parked due to cyclone watch which is gone.
Will reconfigure later today ....always a good time to clean the desks and gear.

Been debating to see Avatar 3 on faux iMax here but 3+ hours and too young puppy to leave caged ....

Intrigued with One Battle ....and also Sinners .. insane Oscar nods. 🍿🍿

Tron: Ares - enjoyed it. Soundtrack was excellent as expected. Story was decent (except for some dumb stuff like the giant machine at the end being way bigger than the actual room it was supposedly made in).

Also tried to watch The Tank as I love WWII films but I just couldn't get into it.

Netflix and Prime screwed up ....not sure what is happening

good reviews...free on Youtube ...no ads using Brave.
4k too - very sTralian

a man with my cooking skills.... :sneaky:

That was sweet - bit of formula but very Australian. Needed that since a bit melancholy after selling my kids motorcycle jacket.
Fantastic gear, we bought matching Gortex jackets to ride across Canada together.
The last bit of our gear from the ride 'cept my sun worn helmet from the time. I'll put the funds to good use.

Bit of an oddball but based on true events. Italian does not lend to dubbing but I enjoyed it.

I saw The Rip on the plane last week it was OK but I am not sure if the actual movie was OK or that I was captive for 4 hours and that was the only movie I downloaded for the flight :ROFLMAO:

I didn't mind it. It really didn't break any new ground and the ending was dis-satisfying for me, but overall it entertained.

Watched the Wrecking Crew. Enjoyable typical bad cop romp with a boatload of spent shell casings.

Somehow it was elevated above the usual tough guy dreck, but it still amazes me, having shot weapons like the MP4, that nobody but them seems able to hit anyone. Oh sure, they torque to the right, but still...

No regrets, anyways. Turn off your brain and don't pay a lot of attention to the plot... enjoy the vehicle chases and the gratuitous violence.

I've been thinking about checking out Sinners, but for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. Even though it seems highly regarded and performed well at the box office.
I watched it. It's well-acted for the most part, and I am a total
sucker (get it?) for cheesy vampire movies
... which may be a spoiler, if you haven't seen the previews. About half of it was cliche and really pushes the trope buttons but again, I like all the Subspecies movies for various reasons, and that's saying something, but I'm not sure what.

Fury was OK, a little predictable but the scene with the column of Sherman`s taking on one Tiger was really good, gets my nervous leg jumping every time. The scene is on Youtube... Skirmish with a tiger- Fury. About 9 mins. of building tension and cool down. Could someone link it please.
