This is a great deal.
I'd buy it if I didn't already have more cases than I can use right now,

First Ducati guy raised the price, then he marked it as sold. Nicely done.
I've never understood that practice/game.
There's a gorgeous red '99? Honda Super Blackbird in Toronto that has been for sale that last couple months. Started at $4,000, then $4,500 and last time i saw it it was listed at $5,000. It's been marked sold twice. Don't get it?

More interest than expected I bet

"I'm sorry darling, I keep posting new ads. No idea why it's not selling"

I thought the Radian was a nice looking bike in the right color scheme. I seemed to remember it being a little more angular though.
Speaking of...if this were closer I'd seriously consider buying it.

1986 Yamaha radian 600

CA$700
Selling my dads old bike due to not being able to use anymore - Retro sporty classic, needs a few things to restore it's beauty (I'd remove huge wind shield personally) but solid runner. Has new tires and battery, starts and runs. Seat in good condition. Cheap on insurance and can be made into a nice classic if you want to spend a little time on it. Ad only up until weekend, after that I am being sent away with military until end of summer.

Tried one of these when they first came out and did not see the purpose, too heavy, insane speed limit breaking in 2nd gear and the DCT was erratic. Pretty bike and some liked the DCT
600lb 170 HP at 10k rpm and 95 lb-ft of torque. Ticket magnet. 36 mpg - 18.5L tank smaller than the VFR800 which produced 110 HP on 500 lb weight.

I believe you and I are the only ones who thought it was a pretty bike. I really loved the color.

But other than that, as your remarks illustrate it's didn't have much else going for it.

2010 VFR1200 Dct auto 12k $4500
Good price, but these are generally dirt cheap. They did slightly improve tank range in 2012 with a few minor changes (including lowering the reserve amount, which was quite conservative), but those are almost impossible to find for some reason. I've seen many 2010's, but never a 2012. Probably because so few were sold they were still selling 2010's in 2012.

I did briefly consider one as a replacement for the Tuono, simply because they are now so cheap. I don't mind the looks, and it could have been a hyperspeed mile muncher in the same category as the Blackbird, but the porky weight and poor range killed it. Apparently also a total nightmare to work on, but that applies to most V4's...
