Heated Socks 12V - I love mine and they have held up well for 14 years!A little chilly riding to and from the picket line today. No more than 2 - 3°C. I took the long way home, two hours, my toes are cold, but other than that, entirely comfortable.

i have a pair of battery powered ones i used maybe 3 rides, will probably end up collecting dust. Yours for a burger, or a can or two in the garage. Thanks Shane, I'll give some consideration, but usually my feet don't become cold. I'm also trying to avoid having to add anymore damn moto gear!

Oh, thanks for the heads up. I definately won't be doing any of this. I won't even click on your link but thanks anyways.I'm gonna have to plead the fifth on where I ride so I don't self-incriminate... and I wouldn't want to give you any potentially illegal advice... So instead let me tell you what you totally should not do:
1) Do not get something quiet/electric so you can be so stealthy and slow when people are around, and stupid and reckless when they aren't.
2) Do not go to trailforks' map page, here: https://www.trailforks.com/trails/map/?nearby=1
3) Do not go to the top left corner of that page and select "MOUNTAIN BIKE"
4) Do not play with the filters which let you select trail types like single or double track, paved or gravel, rail trails or wilderness trails, etc. and definitely do not use these filters to map out the trails that Karens definitely won't be on.
5) If you're hauling your electric toy in, you definitely should not use Google Streetview to find a quiet residential street you'll leave your SUV/truck at, and you definitely could not also use Google Maps to find a nearby community center, a nearby cemetery, or a nearby hockey arena with a parking lot to park in either.
All of this would be very very bad and would really upset the squares if they found out you did this.
Oh, thanks for the heads up. I definately won't be doing any of this. I won't even click on your link but thanks anyways.
The link is very good though!Ok good. I don't want you to put yourself in danger from having too much of a good time![]()

Who doesn't install snow tires by mid November?Looks like the riding is done at the cottage.

This all came down after about 8 pm last night. Our car is stuck in a mud hole our guy never filled. Apparently all the plows in our area are stuck in ditches, and highway 11 full of cars in ditches.
And sadly, our other car is up here with snow tires not yet installed and in the city…
the same dummy who drove on his winters for an entire summer - unfortunately, not this past summer. Honestly I meant to do it last week, checked weather forecast and it seemed fine. Didn’t plan to drive my car up north but wife changed plans and took it herself and here we are.Who doesn't install snow tires by mid November?![]()

Yeah they got slammed. HWY 11 was closed from Washago and north, with people ditching cars etc.Gravenhurst
Why is this? Winter comes every year. Learning to drive in the winter is easy. Slow down. That's it.with people ditching cars etc.
