To be masked or not to be masked

Not sure how this went from masks to blood.
There's going to people who will only want vaxxed blood as well.
I'm not going to try and place either group in a particular geography as they're all over the nation.
There's been a pandemic and much fear spread along with it.
It will take time to adjust.

At some point the world is going to have to get past this us versus them, vaxxed and unvaccinated left right and so on
Just my opinion but right now it seems more like "Network" movie 1976 "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more."

Adverse reactions are a non zero percent and effectiveness is not 100%. Yup, pretty basic.
It’s funny that my friends that don’t believe the vaccine all have many many people in their circle of friends that have suffered adverse reactions.

Ranging from stroke to death. They must know really unlucky people.

Or, perhaps, the people that they "know" are their father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate?

But its authors noted that rates of neurological adverse events were far higher following SARS-CoV-2 infection than after vaccination.
Pick your risk

So far for me - having avoided covid and with all my shots. I'll stick with vax and masks.

I’ve been vaxxed and masked, still had Covid twice, that i tested for. Probably had it more than twice as coming out of voisy bay from work, before they even had a name for it.

Was coughing for three or four days, not feeling sick. And wow it hit me a few days later. Had chills so bad i had four or five blankets on me and still couldn’t get warm.

Next night totally opposite, had a fever so bad it was like someone hit me with a bucket of water. Even my toes were sweating.

A couple days later felt great. That was before the vaccines was even talked about to public knowledge.

The couple times after that when i tested positive, didn’t even know i had Covid.

I don’t put anyone down for masking or getting boosters.

I would hope the feelings mutual for the people who judge others for not masking or getting booster shots.

Anyway I’m glad I’ve got that choice now

Boosters are for the person's good and only secondarily for the public weal in keeping hospital resources to a minimum.

Masking is for the public good as well as your own.

If people don't mask in public then it will be mandated ....that's your actual choice.

What would it take to get us to wear masks again? | About That

I don’t think that mandates are coming back.

Should they? Depends on the side of the table you’re on.

Our healthcare system is on the brink of collapse…again. This is what will be used for as justification for any mandates coming up.

Freedom Convoy 2.0 is coming. They’ll need something to protest.

Quote "The article basically acknowledges that there are inherent risks in medicine."

Interesting: to reiterate anything not natural you put in your body is a toxin and that every expert is basically guessing when they create these things, and it is not until much later, after years of study do you know the true reality of the situation.

As far as our health system being overtaxed, maybe our all intelligent government and experts should of spent the money they handed out (after locking us all down and destroying the economy) on improving the health care system right at the beginning.
I'm sure the population wouldn't of disagreed that it needed a complete overhaul.
Money government borrowed then at 0% interest rates would of gone a long way for the benefit of the future of our healthcare system and help the courageous people that run the front line of it.
Allowing expansion to handle the increase in required capacity.
Then it wouldn't of been on verge of collapse now.

But hindsight and Monday morning quarterbacking is too little, too late.
At the new interest rates and the woke world that doesn't want to utilize our resources; were screwed.
So its up to the individual to get healthy, eat healthy and watch out for themselves and don't count on the health care system cause its broken and has no chance of being fixed any time soon.

A quote i came across

"If i don't make it alive, it's a hell of a good day to die"

(not trying to upset anyone, take it for what it is, my view only, be it right or wrong)

No trip to the ICU. Everything worked for you. :)

Currently, in the United States, Republicans are working to have the requirement that military personnel receive Covid vaccinations vacated. This is clearly a purely political move as about 30 seconds research was all that it took to find out that American military personnel are currently required to receive 17 other vaccines, in addition to the one(s) for Covid-19. How much more likely are they to be exposed to Dengue Fever than Covid?
