Are you watching the ones with Gibson, I still think they are the best. The last one was well shot, but it's basically a chase with a U turn, then repeat.

Downloaded all of them and watching them in succession :)

Since I am lingering here I've watched a few older movies in the past little while.
Uncle Buck
Mr Holland Opus
Romy & Michele's High School reunion
No Country for Old Men
Dutch

Time to bring out the big series during quarantine time.

The family wanted to watch the Harry Potter series which I have on Blu Ray. And so be it. At 8 long films, it's a large time investment. Even though I watched the series at Christmas it's still worth my re-watch. Half way into the second movie so far here... and maybe a third will go down before the end of the day.

The Hunt. Was prepared to while away an hour or so with what I thought would be a cheesy “Running Man” type movie (humans hunted for fun). However, as it turns out, it is a pretty good commentary of what’s happening today with tribalism. There’s a ton of gory action in it too which helps. Hillary Swank is in it nearer the end. Pretty good fun overall.

I've never been able to watch any Harry Potter movie without falling asleep.

Extraction - Absolutely amazing action sequences, jaw droppingly good action. Not much else to the movie, but if you like action, strongly recommended.

Stuber was a good watch, some very funny lines.

Stuber came out of nowhere for me. In these times a comedy is nice. It was great... but I enjoy the slapsticky comedy vibe it brings. Rated 41% on RT with critics, and ~80% with audience (lol).

NSFW red band trailer.

Watched Get Out last night. Supposed to be a horror movie, maybe my skin is a bit thicker than most when it comes to horror, didn't find it scary. Was vaguely familiar and sometimes predictable.

Was entertaining and the storyline was interesting but not a movie I feel compelled to add to the collection.

Spoiler alert, made me smile when the girlfriend got what was coming to her lol.

Also watched the newer version of Charlotte's Web with the kids, great movie about friendship and the circle of life for the little ones.

Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker - Given it was May 4th and I had a few hours to chill I watched this movie and thought it was pretty good. I'm not a Star Wars geek so I can't comment if there were holes left in storyline or whatever but as someone who's watched the others in the series thought it was good. Ren suddenly becoming a good guy so easily wasn't believable though though.

Over the past little while I have watched a few older movies again.
The Money Pit
Galaxy Quest - Still fun!
Michael Clatyon - meh
Starship Troopers - Still fun & Cheesy!
The Color of Money - just meh
Krull - Wasn't great when it came out, just cheesy now.

I'd love to see Krull again!... brings me back to my youth. Some good films there.

Knuckleball is another movie that came out of nowhere for me. It's a small Canadian production with Michael Ironside. Not very deep, but creepy and entertaining... in a classic Canadian Prairie farm setting. It works (It Chapter 2 was filmed in Winnipeg). So many great film settings in Canada...

F&F - Hobbs and Shaw. Okay, some nice funny dialog and stuff to get you through the low spots. Pure popcorn.

W. I revisited this fascinating movie based on G.W. Bush and his life (part of the Oliver Stone trilogy of the US presidency). Shocking (to say nothing of today in the US).

The 'Burbs... classic (well known Spielberg DNA in it).

Hart's War... It had been a while and I always liked it. Lots of layers to peel.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. I always really enjoyed this show; a very good cast with Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling. Funny funny.

Anything good on Prime. My kid had an account, but didn't watch or listen.
