Carrying a passenger helmet on a 2010 R1 without a net... How do I do it?

If the back seat is narrow and the straps are long enough, then strap it to the back seat.

You can hook a helmet on a 2010 R1 pillion seat lol. You need to step your game up.... I've taken pizza's and other random things on my bike. You just find a way, bikers are supposed to be creative!

Duct Tape the friggin thing and that meets all criteria given.

So OP had question answered and did not like any answer which would actually work for him....don't think there's really any other way to do this then....
Strap it to seat
Put arm through
Put in backpack
Or just deliver it with car and then get bike....

Buy two nets, secure one to the other to make one long net and get creative with your mounting points

Get a big tank bag and use a half helmet.

What's the issue with using a net? It's the best way and you just shove it under the seat when you get to your location.

Don't carry it in a knapsack on an SS. Buddy had his GF's helmet bounce down the DVP after the knapsack blew open. Needless to say, he now own's a banged up helmet & is currently without a GF!

I use a little carabiner to hook the zipper tabs together, never had a problem.

Carabiner saves relationship. Who da thunk it! Then, maybe the bouncing helmet was just the final straw.

On my 650R I've carried a case of beer once along with a couple xbox games and controllers, a desktop PC another time, and a bunch of other things I'm forgetting.

On my RS125 (much smaller bike with tiny passenger seat) I've carried two carry on sized luggage (at the same time), a car battery, and again a bunch of stuff I'm forgetting.

No net, backpack, or arm, really limits it eh.

Electrical works better, IMO. I used to carry a roll in my jacket pocket just in case I needed to strap something to my bike and you can find them for 99c.

Just because it happens occasionally doesn't mean it's a good reason to say using a backpack is a bad idea. That's like saying you shouldn't ride a motorcycle because there's a chance you might crash.

No, the reason for the not using the backpack was crashing and landing on the helmet, I thought. Either way, my post is talking about how a back pack will blow open. It will blow open real easy.
