Carrying a passenger helmet on a 2010 R1 without a net... How do I do it?

No, the reason for the not using the backpack was crashing and landing on the helmet, I thought. Either way, my post is talking about how a back pack will blow open. It will blow open real easy. ;)

That reason makes more sense.

Seeing a helmet strapped to your arm doesn't look like a purse. . .Mother in law has like 50 purses (crazy). . .not one looks like it could be used to break a person's nose. . . hey or protect her elbow! Anyways don't be so reserved, what are you hiding anyway, and why be concerned with what everyone else thinks. . they should have their own lives. Strapped to arm works for me. . .though it seems OP wants the spare to always be with him. . . Always carrying for the possibility of passengers seems a bit over the top for me; but then again I just don't visit a lot of people. . .perhaps dude winds up picking up various pals a lot. . .need a different ride then.

Or get a second ride. . . .I thought I'd get the second one (for the luggage) and sell the other one. . .

. . .no that didn't happen lol. . .kept both, and I ride a lot more now. Need luggage/storage? take that one. Just a ride for cruising's sake? take other one. INsurance actually wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be. . .so wife said 'ok'.

Your helmet/storage issues - solved.
