You've joined a select group; those of us who have gotten to wear track pants, for a couple of weeks, because of some careless cager. Heal up and, when you get a subpoena to appear in court against him, make the time to do it.

wtf!! **** like this really pisses me off. Does no one pay attention to the rules of the road anymore. Its called common sense. Every witness there should have the right to smack the cager in the head for being such an idiot. Sorry about your ride and gws.

So glad you made out well enough to be typing to us! Make sure this guy gets what's coming to him. Also, good on you for staying with the bike and braking as much as you could. Although it sucks you couldn't stop it, doing that likely made a difference.

What a lying sack of s#$#. I hope you can sue him just on the basis being a lying turd. Of course, suing for pain, suffering, lost income etc. is more legit. It still gets me that people don't own up to their errors. I'm glad you had so many witnesses.

He got charged, so ball is in your court. Just take it up with insurance, they should cover EVERYTHING. I suggest making a list of mods, etc and gathering advertisements for your bike in order to get top dollar from insurance. And get quotes / catalogue pages for your gear etc...
