Tim, you're right. I shouldn't be scared of it... I should try it. Maybe next year. My street tires are not new. My track tires are new (one track day on them). My street front that we were talking about last week is "new" as in it hasn't been fully scrubbed in but it's a 2007 tire. I was going to get some new tires a few weeks ago but decided to give that front another chance.

Steve, I'm not riding tomorrow night, I'll be riding to work tomorrow. Looks like rain coming tomorrow night, but I'm busy in the evening anyway. I could probably do Saturday morning, maybe around 10:00 for a few hours? Who's in for that?

Saturday am sounds good to me at the moment.... have to referee a women's 3 on 3 ice hockey tournament in the afternoon.. let's hope the weather cooperates...

So about the ride on Saturday, I was thinking we could meet at the Tim Horton's at Ottawa and Fischer-Hallman at 10am, and then head out of town through Roseville towards Paris. Any other thoughts?

Doesn't matter to me... the road from Conestoga College out towards New Dundee is fun for a few km too.

Brutal! That's terrible news... Don't see many white/red R1's around. I'll keep an eye out.

Never fails to amaze me how much theft there is in Waterloo given it's size.

How did the ride turn out Saturday morning?

Got caught in the rain a bit today, bike was wet, didnt cover it.....now its drenched!! Good storm though.

It wasn't too bad Saturday morning. A bit foggy and drizzly for the first while. Searching for new roads was a bust... roads that looked great on the map turned into gravel. It was only Tim an I. It was still nice to get out. This week looks great so far. Tires will get nice and sticky. ;)

Is the first cruise night at Royal Dist. in Guelph on Thursday? Maybe we'll do a zip around, through Maryhill etc, pop in to see what's going on for 10-15 minutes and be on our way again?
Just a thought - they sometimes have special sale items those nights.
