03/04 ZX6R 636exy Build. (The creamsiKKle)

Are plastics and tank staying blue?

yes....don't like it? What colour would you've picked?

Oh, in person, the shade / sheen of the blue & orange look very similar, the blue has a bit of a mettalic look to it...

I personally like it a lot, its the look I was going for. I actually would've done the frame the colour of the OEM case covers, that poopish brown/gold colour. It would've made it a bit muted.

Well I normally like blue and orange, but you have the white thing going on as well. I feel like you have to tie the blue in there somewhere. Or perhaps put an orange metallic Kawasaki decal on the tank or something. You gotta marry the collies together better. Just my opinion. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

its finished. Just waiting for parts. The brake lines I want are b/o till april 15th!

She still needs a good wash, a test ride and retorqing of all the bolts...putting the plate/rear blinkers on....and a good ones over....and an oil change.

Roughtly a week build done!

can't do anything abou B/O parts. I could go with a silver rear line from the pile of lines I have, but I'd rather wait for the line I really want. No point spending money on something I don't really want.

I am very happy with my coater, I will continue to use him. And special thanks to johnnyp636 - thanks for the parts, I really needed that stuff to complete the build time.

LOve the orange....the white, I am unsure of....a little too much maybe?

Paint the bodywork.....white, black.......something that goes with the orange and white. The blue looks like hot parts off of a stolen bike,LOL

It looks fantastic Fiaz! Cant wait to see her out in the sun :)

bring your sunglasses!

...and it looks damn fine...damn fine. :headbang:

i havent even washed her....yet...

I like it...it feels like a new bike, I cant sleep. I just want to take her for a spin. There were very few issues with this extensive built, so I am getting pretty good at this stuff.

I was hoping to buy some orange panels, make it look something like this bike...but I personally love this colour combo...

I agree, it came out really great! Only thing I would change is the windscreen, its just dont look right with all that color going on :)

When you powder coated the frame does it have any effect on the stamped vin? I have only looked closely at one bike that had a powdercoated frame and parts of the vin were hard to make out.

I think the bike would look good with the fairings painted white with orange accents. The blue looks out of place imo.

It should be taped off, being a double coat it would dissapear if you didnt

all of a sudden I have a sweet tooth

I debated if I should or not. its still visible, but the gloss makes it hard to see due to the light.

I might tape it next time. having it grey definitely makes it easier to read...and being a street bike that might be better in case the cops want to read it....

05/06 OEM zx6r wheels would suit the bike well

thought about that. 05/06 swingarm swap is easy to do on this bike. but I really love the 3 spoke wheels. plus if i did go that route, my invetory of wheels would've been messed up

I wish I had more time to take pics...but new job is draining me....

here is a pic of the trunk area....
