Who's riding?

Made it up to Haliburton yesterday. Temps were a bit cold at 6c up on the 118 but it was clean. 507 is clean but the north end is rough. Dyno Rd is all sand so avoid for a while.
Stopped at Flynn’s to warm up but it was too windy so I followed the river from Lakefield to Peterborough where temps were in the 8-10c range and found a sunny spot to warm up with a snack and some caffeine before continuing. Did about 400km and surprisingly only saw two other bikes out.

Finally got the bike out. It started to rain and thought for the first ride maybe a good idea to keep it short. Then Hockley Valley Road called to me. On and off rain, nothing heavy. I had the road to my self no bikes at the General Store. The road is in good shape a few frost heaves but no sand or gravel that I saw.

I blew off Friday afternoon and drove out to Dundas for a coffee at Detour, then a stop at Barrel Heart to pick up a couple a bottles of beer.

From Downtown Burlington - Northshore Blvd - York Blvd - Old Guelph - Patterson - Valley Rd - Rock Chapel - Harvest - Brock - King St W. Same way back with a stop at Tamp coffee in downtown Burly (saw a friend on the patio), then 4 blocks home. Looking like the next nice day is Thursday!

I really needs to take some pics!

They are lovely bikes. Some days I miss mine

@sburns @oioioi @kurtrules and anyone else that owns a Strom... There is the annual Road Toads lunch up in Bancroft this coming Sunday. Details are on the Stromtrooper website. VTom won't be there cuz he now lives in Alberta, but should be a bunch of other Strommers and traitors..

I'd go but I have a family thing to do, so no riding for me yet)

Blew some cobwebs off the other day after an oil change. Bike started first try like a champ. Just threw the clutch switch error after a bit (detailed in technical thread). No real issues though which isn’t bad for a 10 year old bike with a mass of sensors etc on it. Just need to run through adjustable suspension settings and ride modes a bit more to make sure all is well but I’m quite pleased otherwise. Even my tire pressure sensors are still working fine after all this time and I expected those to quit about now.

Still some gravel and sand around our way but the rain is helping a lot. Should be a good season if my back holds up.
