Where would I buy a battery for my Vulcan?

Another vote for Glen at Flying squirrel.

Good guy, good price for proper products.

Be careful when buying batteries. I've found a number of bikes with charging system failures have chinese batteries. I replaced my 6 year old original gsxr battery this spring because i don't want problems with it. I had snow city order it from suzuki with the suzuki part number because it was only $85. Your charging system has some very expensive components so don't cheap out or be too worried about a couple of days to order. You'll be better off with a quality battery. Also, be sure to check the connection fron the stator to rectifier/regulator making sure its clean and has some dielectric grease in it to prevent corrosion. If you like, i can do this for you.

Agree with assassin; I went looking for a new battery for my Superduke (999cc v-twin and requires a good battery to crank) and while I've bought from the above mentioned GNB Systems in the past, their solution for my bike was a PowerSonic (never heard of it) that was rated at 130 CCA vs the OEM Yuasa at 230 CCA.

I bought the OEM Yuasa from Blue Streak Racing cheaper than anyone else could do.

Petes Superbike is reasonable as well! Shipped quick! Got my Yuasa from there. See what your manual recommends and stick with that.
