Where to mount Gopro camera ?

Top of the helmet works just fine at a good speed. You can definitely feel the pressure that it's taking though. However, I dont see the curved sticky mount to let go anytime soon. Try it yourself. Put on the curved mount on your helmet and without picking at it, pull it off. Good luck and stop after 5-10 seconds :)

When I first got the gopro I didn't have the suction mount so I put a sticky mount on the top inside of the windscreen. No that I have the suction I have put it on the tank, outside of the windscreen and on my fairings.

It gets boring if you constantly have one view of the road. I will prob try it out on my helmet too.

I have a roll cage mount clamped onto one of my frame sliders. Gives some nice low down footage at the track. I also have sticky mounts on the tank, front windscreen and tail.

Y
ou can face the camera forwards or backwards.
I tried it on my helmet before.... didnt like it. Was always paranoid that it would blow off in the wind plus it made my head heavier.

The problem with that is obvious... 9:16 video.... instead of 16:9 video.

I think its just the camera itself. A Contour has rotatable lens so you can easily fix that. A gopro has those 3 joint arm things.

It's this ball -->
and this arm -->
And this camera mount -->
with the go-pro tripod adapter -->
