Where to get a puppy?

Anyone use a bark collar? Lucy is driving me effing bananas sometimes.

I know she wants something, but just won't shut the F up...typically in the house, after a walk, and a snack.

I foolishly bought a used bark collar...doesn't work.

I'll try it on the kids just in case, but it doesn't seem to want to pair with the receiver.

Too bad. You coulda had some kinda signature cocktail - something like The Warsaw Ball Drop, Lemoncello Squeeze, or Lemoncello Nut Drop.
 
Day 2 of training went very well...'heel' was the lesson and use of prong collar.

Went for a 45min walk today, and outside of one instance where she yelped at the collar (she refused to go forward due to another dog) so I had to shift around to 'pull' her backwards instead of forwards...great success.

Shockingly that a few of the dog owners I met over the last few months even noticed.

'hey you training her? she looks completely different on her walk today'

Eric is a hard personality, hard to explain with a word. Not d-o-u-c-h-e-bag...but overall very fair and firm. Overall I'm very happy with the lessons and I'm glad my wife talked me into going there.
 
Both of ours are VERY responsive to the squirt bottle ...All I have to do is brandish it most times. :sneaky:
The young'un does the constant bark when she thinks we need to pay attention to her...quick shot with the bottle shuts her right up.
Need an automated version out side my bedroom door.:rolleyes:
 
My last dog got ivdd… we fixed him…. He got to walking again.. and lived for 5 more years.
And now it looks like my current dog is getting it. She’s getting an MRI right now… so we’ll see.

Vet called after the mri.. to let me know they’ll have to also do a ct scan because they’re having issues with the mri…
“How is she?”
“Shes okay.. um.. are you aware that your dog has been shot?”
I wasn’t… we’ve had her for 5 years. She was between 1-2 when we got her.
So.. she was shot in the back and neck sometime before we got her and there’s still some pellets in her… that interfere with the mri.

Probably naive of me to hope it’s a hunting accident.
