Where do you guys buy your batteries?
Im looking for a battery for my Kawasaki Z750 to replace the ytx9-bs that is in it now. The cheaper, the better (Preferably close to Mississauga).

Petes website. Would have been an awesome price if shipping was free. Ordered last Thursday evening it arrived this morning.

I got a battery for my kawi at Sturgess in Hamilton. They had them in stock if you pay for it over the phone with your cc they will charge it up before you go to pick it up - can pick it up the next day.

and as far as getting a cheap battery, I don't recommend it, get a good quality one, and have a worry free season

I got a Yuasa, was not the cheapest - the price difference was pretty nominal though and from what I understand it's a good brand.

buy it from glen! he is the man.

Before you go anywhere go to Crosstown Battery Vic Park and Danforth. All they sell is batteries and nothing else. These guys are the experts! Gel batteries for $50.00. and they will diagnose and test your battery the right way with a load tester and know what they are doing. My battery passed every test that partsource gave it with their "$2000.00 tester" when I went to crosstown they told me that the liquid in my sealed battery had evaporated. Thought it had enough to start the bike. It didnt have enough to start in the event of a stall. Thats exactly what I was experiencing. Buy a battery from someone who can service it if the need arises.

Riders in the Hammer can try ACME (yup, While E. Coyote) Battery, 475 Parkdale. I would NOT put one of their batteries into a unicorn or other rare ride, but they are cheap and cheerful.

I've toyed around buying batteries from different places and found that the batteries I get from the dealer last much longer (Harley) than any other. I think because of the vibrations from my sportster some of the batteries may have been vibrated to death. But you are riding a Kawi, so this may not apply.
