I’ve given up on pro sports (still a bit of love for the Leafs though) and I must admit I’ve been watching the highlights after the games and very happy they are going to the big show. Amazing really. Go Jays Go.Kinda surprised no one around here has mentioned what has been going on with the Jays,
Even a, not much of a sports guy, like me has taken notice.

People seem to have money, if you are downtown it's packed. I was around skydome last week and everything is was hoping.I keep wondering where the money comes from to pay for the seats.
That knee hit was awful. Thought it would have split like a walnut, and he still tried to keep playing.Springer is a tank, shook off a major knee injury and ran into home like he was still in his 20s.
Yeah, it made my guts twist watching it. Dropped him like a stone. The way it hit, I expected tendon and soft tissue damage but Springer and Bichette are nothing alike in this regard... take that how you want to.That knee hit was awful. I was there at both of the celebrations. I've got a signed baseball from Joe Carter and the two posters they handed you at the gate framed on my wall right above me now. Trying to find a bar with room to stand after 30,000 fans all poured out of the Dome downtown was a struggle.I still remember watching the 1992-93 games live and will keep enjoying this series.
Started dating my late wife at that time. We brought our beers to celebrate with everyone else at Yonge & Eglinton.I still remember watching the 1992-93 games live and will keep enjoying this series.
Me too. My dad had a box behind home plate, we got to see all the playoff games back then.I was there at both of the celebrations.
