What you define as "Spirited Riding"?

Spirited riding can mean two things.

I take it as a quick romp through some twisties. At a controlled pace, not even coming close to the edge of your abilities.
As long as you are having fun at the pace and would never fall down,

Spirited means, something like 10-40 kph above the posted limits.

Or, riding like crazy, in a group. Riding like a bat out of hell.

A squid is someone that does not put on riding gear. and Spirited 10 to 40 km/h above speed limit? lol
 
So what if you wear a shirt and ride at the speed limit?? What's that called? A squid spiritual?

My version of spirited is to pick a speed that is somewhat below HTA 172 and never slow down for any corner. (few exceptions)

And every now and then where I know the conditions are pretty safe, I will attack a small stretch of road for a little fun. No details forthcoming.

Squid
A young motorcyclist who overestimates his abilities, boasts of his riding skills when in reality he has none. Squid bikes are usually decorated with chrome and various anodized bits. Rear tyres are too wide for their own good, swingarm extended. Really slow in the corners, and sudden bursts of acceleration when a straight appears. Squids wear no protection, deeming themselves invincible. This fact compounds intself with the fact that they engage in 'extreem riding'--performing wheelies and stoppies in public areas. Squids wreck alot. Derived from 'squirly kid'
