What would you do if . . .

My bike, yeah of course I'm going to try and stop the thieves. Not my bike, not my problem. And I sure wouldn't expect anyone to stop my bike from getting stolen.

What a ******* moron. If you don’t have enough decency to stop something from being stolen you’re the scum of the earth. You’re an embarrassment to riders in my opinion. My bike was hit a few weeks ago while parked and I managed to chase the guy down with a bystander that saw what happened. That’s a decent human being, clearly not you. Give you head a shake or I truly hope if anyone’s going to get screwed like this it’s you. This might give you a much needed lesson on how to be a decent person.

There have been studies done on females who were brutally beaten, raped, and thrown into a busy intersection. Nobody called the cops, she died later.

There's also YouTube videos of someone sawing off his own bike lock in the middle of New York, and riding the bike away. Nobody stopped him.

Honestly, I'd rather risk a law suit against me (which is preventable by beating the **** out of the thieves so badly they are scared of you and think you are God, of course then we reach questionable morale stuff...) than not be able to sleep wondering "what ifs". Maybe I have a super hero complex, but at least I'm not a pussy; people need to stand up for what they believe in and stop expecting others to.

^ maybe he meant not approaching the thief for a physical altercation, which in these days and times is probably a good idea. Take it from a guy who's had a gun pulled on him by a kid....for a PAGER! People will kill u for less than u think, and I'm sure u have peeps who would love nothing more than to keep having you in their life. Get a description, write down a plate, find witnesses/surveillance footage. Theres a reason Red Cross teaches how to treat puncture wounds! I agree tho if a person didn't even call the cops seeing that theft in progress you would be the highest level of ***hole

It's not worth jumping some scum only to find out he has a gun, i'm big and tough, but no matter how tough you are a bullet will still mess you up. Also someone else said make sure they see you taking pics or calling the cops so that they might give up and leave.. no.. i wouldn't let them see me if possible, it would be better to call the cops then follow them from a distance, better to get them nailed with the goods.

Totally agreed.

I'd offer to help load the bike it in the van, and totally be a pain in the *** and impede their progress, all the while making is seem like I'm really trying to help. They'll grow frustrated over the course of an hour of me helping, and bugger off.

I like it. I think I'll do the same. You may just save the bike and hopefully not get stabbed, although there is still the possibility.

It's kinda tough to stab someone wearing a douchevest.

And i'd take off with the Busa while you were distracted... Mwahaha

The average sportbike is worth what? Fairly new.. 12 grand? Do you go superhero everytime someone steals a hyundai?

Sad but true fact, cops could care less about your property being stolen. I reported by bike theft as it was happening and they didnt show up till 4 hours later.

If you get run over, shot, stabbed, then they will be there in 5 min.

Installed ID link this time around and also getting the Scorpio 1100 with GPS tracking so I can follow them next time.

All my i900 did was tell me it was getting stolen and gave the thieves a headache.

These thieves are the scum of the earth and I show no respect towards them.

Since most bike are stolen by those in the profession of theft, it would be highly unlikely that you would even catch them. Even with your GTAM ninja skills and use the pegasuss alarm method. If you were fortunate enough to stumble on the crime in action I doubt most would even know what they stumbled upon let alone have the time to put on their spiderman under-roos and kick some ***. I am sure that like many I would simply stand there with a glossy gaze on my face trying to compute with my xbox and internet porn worn out brain the the "F" is going on, by the time my sword was drawn the thieves would be long gone and the only possible thing remaining would be a grainy cell phone photo where the required details would be blocked by my thumb. If I was even smart or fast enough to do it.

My heart goes out to those that lost the bikes they loved, to the lowlifes that make a living off the backs of others. But be a hero end up a zero..

:lmao:diary of a modern day bike theft super hero.

This sounds to me like a proper allocation of police resources.

I would call the 911 and say there was an infant VSA or a black guy with a gun dragging a white lady into *insert the description of van.*
