What are you reading?

Defoe's Robinson Crusoe

Bit of a slog and very much big on god.

I’m almost through this. Just like the title says, interviews with some of the greatest filmmakers of Hollywood’s golden era. Most of the extensive interviews were conducted in the 70’s. Makes me realize how many great films I haven’t seen and how many I need to go back and watch again.

May be the wrong thing to ask…recommendations for finding books to load onto my Kobo?

Mine doesn’t connect to the library system (Kobo Glo) so need to look at some options.

Have you tried loading books onto your reader using Adobe Digital Editions on your PC? I have an older Kobo reader that doesn't play well with directly downloading from the library so I just browse the library's Overdrive website on the PC, download the book onto my computer using ADE and connect the Kobo via USB to transfer the file over to the reader. A bit clunky in theory but it takes no time at all.

My son likes Pennywise because he likes the creepy clown look. So now he wants to read IT.

I won’t let him as I started reading it and wow….good but racist, homophobic, and graphic all in the first chapters…

IT is good ... I would probably say Pet Sematary is peek King.

Put them on to 'The talisman'

Kids are resilient.... give them space.

Everyone should read Armour My all time favourite book..... bar none. The guy wrote one book and out.
