What Are You Currently Listening To?

I've been listening to this group for a while now. They are so spot on to the original, in fact even better and they play different bands as well.

Went to see Teenage Head last night in London.
Yeah, I’m a 1980 Teenage Head Riot Survivor. I actually got into the show that night and saw the aftermath of the riot leaving at the main gates with a huge police presence. Those guys absolutely rocked the place!

I remember seeing that cop car with the smashed windows that night, 45 years ago this coming June 2 I believe.

The remaining members were still laying it down.

Good to hear. They were huge from about ‘79-‘82. Sold out pretty much any venue in Toronto that they played. I saw them many times at The Knobby (Knob Hill Hotel) in Scarborough, a real classy place. Frankie Venom RIP was a great front man.

Make you want to dance and wave your hands in the air like you don't care
Maybe thats not a good idea....

I was out in the garage tonight listening to these two records. They may seem dated but they were a huge reset for me and the way I thought about music. It was like they were hitting you over the head and saying wake up and pay attention to what is going on. The Clash called themselves the only band that really mattered and for a very short time they were.

I heard the studio version of this song on the radio last week and I can’t get it out of my head. After watching this, it occurred to me that David Byrne is definitely on the spectrum.

I wasn’t into their music when they first came out but enjoy it much more in the last few years.
