Got the Kendrick concert coming up
Taking my 13 year old
I'm trying to learn some songs so I don't look like the out if touch old guy

I was trying really hard not to like him because the 6ix and the Drake thing

But I'm feeling Not Like Us & Luther

Here, Joe, Kendrick Lamar & SZA Setlist at State Farm Stadium, Glendale

This website tells you what the artist played at the shows prior to the present date. This way you can learn the songs that will most likely be played, rather than like/learn songs that won't be played.

Highly recommend learning some of SZAs songs too as she is very talented.

The 80's keeps on giving. Went down this weird rabbit hole of Japanese City Pop, some of it's more funky then expected.
But great stuff overall. Apparently all the rage for the new gen who like retro....

SZA is good
Kendrick is good
The fact that the show was like a double concert was good
Production was good

Sound was terrible (Skydome is notorious for this, but this was bad)
I didn't know what I was expecting, but Kendrick was very karaokeish..... backing tracks, features were also backing vocals....I would have liked a guest rapper maybe doing those parts? Have a DJ on stage to give somewhat of the illusion that something live was happening?

I enjoyed the show.
My kid and mostly everyone there loved it.
10/10 that I will not go to another one LoL

You gotta come to the metal shows I go to, Joe. Specifically one at History. No backing tracks, amazing sound, all live music.

Played loud it still gives a thrill…..

I recall seeing a Making of video of the practice sessions for this and you have this pro dance crew going through the moves
Then Michael steps in, who has never had any dance training, and just outshines them all
Best of all time ….even Fred Astaire acknowledged it….

Terrific piece of work and better in 4k. Superb casting and direction
Having Boris Karloff narrate parts just genius

Remastered - excellent sound

One of my fav scenes and music from Miami Vice movie

Listened to a good podcast about history of heavy metal (at a high level).

This is a song that had me intrigued so I listened to it a few times....

This is another garage favourite. This was recorded on The Rolling Stones ‘69 US tour. They had lost founding member Brian Jones just months earlier. Nineteen year old guitar prodigy Mick Taylor steps in to take his place and the rest is history. The Rolling Stones are really starting to hit their stride here and starting a new phase of their career with Taylor. Keith is really on top of his game before getting messed up on heroin as are the rest of the band. An absolute must listen for any Stones fan or anyone not familiar with their earlier work. Seen them many times live and they are hit and miss but they really knock it out of the park on this live performance. Caution, must be listened to LOUD.
