Colders better, stops the KLR from overheating as fast.

Well I'm testing gear for our June trip yo the east coast so I guess it's the wet and cold test day on Sunday - Forks is far enough with a warm welcome at end. :D

I was worried a trip to the Forks may have been cancelled. My fears have been alleviated.

Sunday will be fine for the Lucan trial. :)

Friend of mine is taking the M1X at Conestoga College this weekend. So crappy for him that the weather has to do this so late into May...

Good thing I am doing all my riding today

3 weekends in a row with decent weather through the week and then crappy weekends. This kind of crap is bad enough this time of year but if it continues into the summer, well...I'll have to start yelling at clouds again. ;)

We should change our road signs to read "Welcome to Ontario, Home of the Upper Level Low"

I know. I was actually planning a ride to the west end, an area I haven't riden in probably 3 or more years. I guess it can wait

I'm doing my M1X also this weekend at Durham College. Heading out in a bit to go pick up a rain suit.

I believe one could make a direct correlation between weekend weather outcomes and motorcycle related deaths. If it snowed every weekend from now thru Labour Day there would be a marked decrease in deaths over last year, same period. How this is not a good thing is beyond me. Of course suicides would offset most of these gains.

The weather in Canada just sucks big time, we can't make weekend plans because you never know how the weather will be, very rarely do we see two consecutive sunny weekends in a row. The older i get the more i miss Europe!!!!.lol

Something very strange happening with the jet stream. They have had frequent 30 degree temps out west, hot and dry. It doesn't rain much out there anyway, sort of semi-desert. In contrast it always rains in Southern Ontario, but it isn't usually this cold here. Getting fed up with Ontario too: cold, wet, high taxes, traffic jams everywhere. Really getting on my nerves.

Warm Arctic.. wavering jet stream, weird weather - get used to it.

Think I'll use the light rain cold day to test trip gear. See how I am in this temp. Take a quck spin to the Forks for coffee in the afternoon.

Tomorrow looks too nasty.

It's the La Nina (spanish speakers please advise) cooling effect. It usually follows the El Nino pattern and is somewhat proportional to it. The little boy was especially naughty this year, so a milder summer was one of the predictions. It means less smog, lower A/C bills and fewer bikinis. 2/3 ain't bad, or 3/3 depending on the amount of cheese cake sold during the winter months.
