Did you guys read the thread? They are not worn out. They are made that way.Supposedly they are easier on chain wear.
The front sprocket has only 10 teeth or so in mesh at a time, and don't wear out any faster than the rear, maybe it works.Interesting. I would imagine it would be okay for bikes with less horsepower. Put that on a litre bike and those few teeth that are there are going to get bent real fast. It stretches the chain less because only 10 teeth are pulling on the chain at a time. Personally I wouldn't put this on my bike.
Just rolled into MikeyMoto's shop "I think my chain is making weird noises..."

Nope, just saw it posted on Mikeymoto's facebook pageDid that come off your bike??
Bahahaha.Four leaf clover, missing teeth and snail adjuster on trials bike. There's gotta be a joke in there somewhere.
It's obviously a trials bike.Trials is all about light weight. No need to be insulting.Nothing about cheap in this.
"That is a step above putting water in the tires for traction." :lmao:
How cheap do you have to be to try something like that? Decent chain these days will last 30K+ as long as you lube it once in a while and people are trying to save a buck here?
Reminds me of the guy who cut out ram air openings out of his frame

Seriously how much weight are you gonna save with this?
Im pretty sure you can take a leak before you get on he bike and youd shed more weight lol
Way way back we used to have a mud sprocket. Take your biggest sprocket and grind every third tooth off, now you have a mud sprocket. Never spit a chain again... in the mud.
We also ran solid rotors in the mud, same idea; they picked and held on to less crap.
Mud will ruin a brand new top of the line chain in one race.
