CTVNews.ca Staff Sidney Crosby is experiencing "significant improvements" in his recovery from concussion and is expected to return to hockey at some point, but there is so far no timeline on that goal, his doctor said Wednesday.
Dr. Michael Collins, who has been treating the Pittsburg Penguins star since January, attended a news conference with Crosby, the first since the injury occurred.
"I anticipate Sid returning to hockey and playing hockey in the future... but before Sid goes back to play we're going to make sure he's 100 per cent recovered, no ifs ands or buts about it," Collins said.
Coming through on CP24...No timeline on his return.
Bets on him not EVER returning? I'd put it at 50/50.
Wonder if the league will pay attention now that it's not some nobody scrapper, but a marquee player.
