TV shows currently watching

the secret life of Lighthouses
on prime well done - really interesting and incredible in many ways. Highly recommended ..more than one season.

One of the striking thing was a 3 watt LED replacing 1,000 watt incandescent.
Another, Michael Faraday developing an alternative to the dangerous clunky batteries of the time and making the first electrical generator.
The carbon arc lights that resulted allowed the beam from the light house to be seen clearly in France !!!
Very well done and informative docu that is engaging.

I used to kayak so this is fun.
We did the Inside Passage by cruise ship from Seattle so brings back lots of memories.
Also took the motorcycles on a portion of it by ferry on the western ride with my kid.

Far more cinema verité than the norm but that's okay.

I did not know there was a bunch of who dunnits all named The Bridge
The original one ( I think ) was Nordic and very good ….I’ve seen others - a French English that had a terrific cast and I think maybe another with a well known lead
This is a bit formulaic so far but autistic lead and cross cultural
Pretty good so far.

Checked out Peaky Blinders... meh couldn't get into it.

Tried Widows Bay - similar.

The Waterfront was good. Just finished it.

Going to do a re-watch of Justified

Can't afford Apple TV ....would love to see that. :(
....
I had trouble getting into Peaky Blinders way back when but perhaps worth it to keep going...Cililan Murphy is magnetic and big story arc is very rewarding.

Actually think I have an older Firestick around. will check - thanks
..
I'm finding some good movies on YouTube these days and no ads thanks to Brave,

Oh how could I forget, watched this: Sheriff Country

Only because of:
Morena-Baccarin-Sheriff-Country-S01-Brown-Leather-Jacket.webp

The last episode has 1 really good scene.

Show is ok, little light on crime drama, and a bit soapy, but entertaining enough, and not hard to watch.
Also filmed in Ontario, parts in Toronto and Milton.

good so far ...very Indiana Jones feel
Very woke ...cast must all be from Toronto 🍾 Much fun - good mix of humour and swash buckling with some steam punk thrown in. 🍿

He posted video of their "secret filming location that apparently isn't so secret anymore", that showed a couple of hundred fans lined up.
Yeah I've heard it's a bit of a chitchow with people lined up for that. I stopped in Milbrook a while back and when I got off the bike realized they were shooting Reacher there. There was barely anyone there watching on (like maybe a dozen max). I stood on the sidewalk and watched some of the fight scenes about 15' away then continued on. Not sure if my KTM made it into the shots while parked on the street next to a prop car.
