TV shows currently watching

Yeah - I bailed .

Might have recommended before but very good based on actual events.

Cersei the hero this time :sneaky:
good reviews
Both girls are seriously good at NOT showing their actual ages....
Had my doubts about the series but I'm hooked.🍿

Unfortunately it got the usual Fox treatment; great ratings but didn't outright own the time slot, so they cut it.

Spoilsport ;)
.....
I did not know this existed
The 12 Monkeys Series is generally considered better for deep, complex storytelling. While the 12 Monkeys Movie is a brilliant, gritty cyberpunk classic, the 4-season show expands the mythology, features mind-bending plot twists, and delivers one of the most satisfying endings in sci-fi TV history.

The television show takes the original premise and turns it into an epic, multi-season adventure. If you love complex, serialized time-travel stories, the series is easily the better choice.
Here is how they break down:
I love the original and this is pretty good so far - lead actress reminds me of an Aussie star.
Thought it was the same girl....she's pretty agile in those high heels.

The guy from the Hannibal Lecter movies Tom Noonan is suitably chilling ....again.

There are a few others I recognise.

Amanda Schull is a bit of a Nicole Kidman look-alike. IMDB says that she was a professional ballet dancer, so I guess that explains the heels thing.

I know I'm late to the game with The Blacklist, but it never really appealed to me when it was airing. Probably because it was hard to see Spader old, never mind fat and balding. My wife watched a season or two back then, and wanted to start over. I watched a few scenes here and there walking by, and could have sworn one of my favorite actresses was in it, at least as a guest star, but we're at the 9th season now and she hasn't appeared yet.

The show is great in general, but so often the characters do stuff completely out of character (or common sense). I keep thinking they're playing along with some hidden agenda, but nope, and then they get screwed. I don't recall ever watching a show that I thought was both so good and so bad at the same time. But like I said, I'm hooked finding out the secret (which I think I've figured out by now), but now I'm invested and need to see it though.

Actually was thinking of Naomi Watts

also ballet trained at a high level

I get her and Kidman tangled too ....now I have 3 doppelgangers
....
I like Black List but have never binged the full cycle ...it's a VERY long run. I chuckle at some of Spaders short takes on Youtube. His dripping sarcasm is a delight.

I don't generally like time travel plots but now thoroughly engaged with TWO!!!
12 Monkeys and Sarah Connor...🤪

Finished Sarah Connor and understand fans frustrations that it was ended sort of in mid stride.
Confusing at times -
Summer Glau was a standout

Time travel never quite works. IMNSHO 🤷‍♂️ :coffee:

We love FBI. Or maybe it's just Missy. My wife loved Rookie Blue, is ambivalent about FBI - Most Wanted, and hates FBI - International.
And there's something off about CIA. We're invested in the franchise, love Tom Ellis from Lucifer, but his role is too tame and we still can't get over Nick Gehlfuss with combed hair.

Finished up my re-watch of Mad Men, still a great series. I like how they showed Don unravelling without explicitly stating it.

Got into Dutton Ranch next, kinda more of the same from Yellowstone. Season ended kinda soft, but I'm sure there will be another season.

Into FROM S4 now.
