If you were a fan (and you should be) of the show Detectorists:

Mackenzie Crook who was Jared in The Office (English version of Dwight) has a new show out called Small Prophets. I am 4 episodes in of the 6 episode series and it is fantastic. Same feel as Detectorists but very different story. Synopsis of the show sounds pretty bizarre, and it is, though much of it is enjoying the characters and their humanity. IMDB describes the show: Eccentric Michael Sleep, whose darling partner, Clea, disappeared seven years ago, sets out to create Homunculi - magical prophesying spirits that can predict the future.
If you like British shows and more so Detectorists you will love this show.
 
Followed a few Alone series but always cold places.

Just started Mobland with Tom Hardy, Piers Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Looks like a well made gangster series about two warring crime families in London. Hardy has the “quiet menace” thing dialled in.

It was alright, I think the writing put me off and I love Tom hardy.

What a great series ....on to Season 2 terrific cast ..seriously 'stralian

A third season of the Australian crime drama Black Snow has been officially confirmed and is currently in production. The new season, starring Travis Fimmel as Detective James Cormack, is set to film in Cairns in April 2026, focusing on a new cold case involving a 1999 murder.

Slow Horses has been really enjoyable. Great cast and characters. Premise of misfits saving the day either by chance or with skill is fun. Sometimes predictable but, other times not. I think the appeal to me is the underdogs besting the others.

Watching the series made me read the books. The Slough House book series is really well written and the TV series follows the books more or less to the letter.
 
Thanks for the book tip since not streaming Apple at the moment and loved Slow Horses.
