trailer hitch questions

They are all about the same

When I had a car, (Jetta) I got hitch at U-Haul. Best price, installed while I waited.

Uhaul, lifetime warranty.

Cheap

This person with a HONDA FIT tows a 14' boat or a bike. If a FIT can do it there's no way you can't. Unless you drive a smart car.

My jetta was a 59 hp, 1.6 turbo diesel...beofre the TDi even came out. And I pulled two sportbikes on a lighweight open trailer to Deals Gap and Daytona many times. Any car can tow 1000 lbs. It's no more stress on the car than having 3 fat guys in the car with you.

Uhaul huh? I saw that online, but for some reason, it did not sit well with me. Will reconsider.
Got mine done at U-haul as well - No issues, just book with enough time in advance through their website, it's cheaper that way for some reason

I bought my hitch online via ebay, took about an hour to install, saved a bundle off of what Uhaul wanted to charge. they arn't hard to install

For a 2013 Accord they would charge $30 for install, well worth the price of them doing it especially if you don't have access to a hoist.

Uhaul looks good to go, $278.30 all in (or $15 less if you don't take some of the warranties):

Hard to beat under 300 installed .Came to 414 for my CRV .

I have a Uhaul hitch on my truck. works great and was the best price. Install it yourself. It's usually 4 bolts.

My car manual says not recommended for towing. What do you guys think?
Its a 2012 Elantra
