TMP Saturday Sept 28!!! WHO'S IN?!

Man..... I gotta get me a track bike and join in on the fun this thread rocks

you feather the throttle when the front starts to get light, not while its in the air. put your head forward, push the bars down and put your chest onto the tank that bike will fly down the straight and stay planted

I never use first gear at TMP, ever. I run the entire infield in 2nd, gear, 2nd to 4th on the front straight then down to 3rd gear for the side straight. I sometimes hit the rev limiter on the side straight but just ride on it for the second or two until brakes, and sometimes just a blip of the rev limiter from turn 6 to the chicane. Seems to work good for me, I may try one gear higher everywhere and see how my lap times do.

Never seen that bike before in my life:cool: I think it would be too much bike for me to start on the track probably go with a 600 more forgiving and anyway with wheelies I wont be putting all that power to the ground am sure something I like will come up for sale this winter

How you doing overall? Would love to see you at the track next yr! And yes, the bike is too much for TMP, but you'll be more than fine on it, what's important is how wide your smile is behind the visor ;)

I don't see a point in buying something right away to sit in the garage all winter, I am kinda tight for space but ZX600 very nice and very tempting.If it was early or midsummer I would be all over it.
