TMP - Aug 3,4,5

what happened to the rider with the 1000rr repsol honda fairings? I saw his bike on the back of the pickup, it looked okay-ish. The guy was in shiny new leathers too.

Not sure, but he was transferred from the EMS to the city ambulance. Just caught a glimpse, I think he was holding an ice patch on his shoulder (broken collarbone?). Hope he's ok and gets well soon.

EDIT: I assumed you referred to Saturday and not today?

also, does anyone know who the guy was with the white honda tshirt whom was taking photos?

ya he seemed okay, i saw him run off at turn 2 earlier that session and a lap later, he went down on the fast left. seemed more upset than anything (i'd be too, that bike was looking shiny!). GWS.

I'd like to know too. Also, so many pretty ladies were taking pictures from the wall on Sat, made me hit the rev limiter on a couple of occasions ;)

I guess that fella actually broke his collarbone pretty bad, and it required surgery in Hamilton. I can happily say that in the motorcycle lapping session on Sunday no one had a big off really, and everyone was unscathed at the end of it I'm pretty sure. Someone had to be airlifted over on the drag strip so that was a lengthy delay understandably so. Great weekend though. I had a great time. It's always nice meeting people as well out there.

Want to thank the organizers (GWB) for a great day!

Also thanks to all the other riders for respecting this newbie on the track :)

Learned a lot! Mostly that I need to overcome my mental fear of moving my butt off the bike!!! Also that I need to relax my upper body (this improved as I did more laps, until I had an oopsie :( )

Overall I am very glad I came out.

Thanks for the pictures!

I had a blast yesterday; I definitely need to get back to TMP this year.

Just watching some of my helmet-cam videos, I need to work on my lines and my body positioning so I can flick into the turns quicker. I turn in too slowly and run wide.

your bike was very nice. awesome to see chicks at the track good for you

That sucks. glad you saved the new rubber.
I wont be able to hit the back roads with you for a few weeks- Broke my ankle and dislocated a shoulder on Sunday.

Glad he was ok. Turns out it's just my tubes.... so my tires will live for more than one day!

I've got pictures of all groups from today, will edit this post with a link shortly... and videos.

That blows! Did that happen on your bike?

Looks like I can only save the back tire now... side wall on the front has tear in it

Thanks! :)

I'm wanting to do another one, have lots to learn.
Yah you should come out for sure to more. Before you know it you'll be crushing. I liked your bike a lot, very nice bikes in person. Was nice meeting you and your friends. Especially liked the supersic stickers hahaha. 58 lives forever. I always say he's my guardian angel on the bike now and if I see 58 on the speedo I always look up or smile in the helmet. Kind of like Jimi Hendrix of the bike world.
