Time to boycott

Boycott's never seem to work. Tim Hortons has been in the news lately and taking heat for hiring all the temporary foreigners, every single post regarding Tim's I've seen on facebook in the last 5 years has had 300 negative comments below it with people saying they will never go there yet every one I drive by still has a long lineup. Maybe their sales have dropped %1-5 the last few weeks? Doubtful. They're still making money.

You would think that their absolute bottom of the barrel quality and appeal of their product alone would have killed their brand by now.
Guessing that the general public is willing to embrace swill if it is convenient and easy.

I have been boycotting KFC since they discontinued $2.00 Tuesday all you can eat chicken & fries.
That was 30+ years ago but i have a long memory.
It's the short term memory loss I have issues with!
And whats with changing their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken just to make it sound healthier?
And why dump the Colonel just because optics say he may have had slaves on his plantation.

Mary Brown was an east coast institution. But if you want to live a healthy life don’t eat that stuff .
And Tim’s is a wasteland of industrial food product .
I ate lunch in a restaurant five days a week for thirty yrs . It wasn’t KFC or Mary Browns , or Pizza Hut .

Another Canadian company going to ****, Mary Browns are now marking up the price of the batters box and short changing you the butter biscuits FML
Not sure if you have a Zehrs near you but there chicken is better and way cheaper. $18 for 9 pieces although they usually just fill the box so could be 10-11 pieces with fries or wedges.

The hot table.

Loblaws also has this.

The advise that i got from employees of supermarkets was to avoid their precooked chicken as cooking the product was a last resort otherwise it was going into the trash.
I may be picky but i also knew a couple of guys that worked doing kitchen fire suppression systems and i would always ask what they thought of a restaurant's kitchen before i would eat there.
The stories that they would tell about some popular eateries would be enough to make you ill.

He never had slaves… or a plantation.

Well I like Tim's coffee and will continue to drink it. I don't like any of the coffees offered by Starbucks and simply won't pay the price they want. McDonalds coffee is okay, but it takes longer to get in and out and there isn't one on my way to work.

I’m only after the caffeine, any swill will do as long as I can’t see the bottom of the cup thru the coffee.

I'm more concerned with whether the cup has made a trip to the floor prior to it going in the dispenser, if the person pulling it out of the dispenser to pour coffee into it has washed their hands after their recent spray poo or not, and if the pot of coffee (?) is made with a second pot of water run through the grinds a second time. All things that have been reported to happen at Scam Hortons.

And if it's actually how I ordered it. I mean 1/2 cream no sugar is pretty complicated. The 1/2 part is a bit of a brain seizer.

Or, just stop going there 7 years ago and be done with it.

Boycotting a company is much easier when they have a crappy product and crappy service like Singh Hortons. I can count on one hand how many times I am caught I am sipping a Timmies in a year (usually at an Enroute when there are no other options or in a meeting when someone brings it in). I actually prefer McDonalds for brewed coffee but when I am in the US it is Starbucks non-fat Latte or Dunkin's all the way.

BTW.......Starbucks when I am on business
